Who can see my Passport and proof?
Your Passport is private by default. If an item is lost or stolen, ItemRecover does not publish it in a browsable public registry. The safe public path is exact lookup: an IR Tag scan, serial, or registry code can open a limited finder contact form.
What does "claim-ready proof" mean?
It means the important evidence is already gathered before you need it: receipt, serial number, photos, purchase date, store, and supporting notes. ItemRecover can export that as a Proof Pack PDF for insurance, police, resale, or warranty situations.
What happens if I sell or give the item away?
Use Transfer Ownership from any ItemRecover Passport. The new owner doesn't need an existing account. They receive a link, claim it, and become the new registered owner with your verified history.
